Hello world!
So I was inspired to start this blog by reading another. Jenna Woginrich at Cold Antler Farm has taken her farm from nothing more than a fragile wish and turned it in to a real, muddy, glorious, bloody, real-food-producing farm. And after following her blog for over a year, I decided it was high-time I got my ass and gear and went after my own dream. I want to create a sustainable farm. From vegetables to broilers, orchards to cattle, I want to grow and raise it all, and in a way that won't leave a scar on the earth. I want to provide high quality, nutritious food for people in my area. My plan is for this blog to act as a journal, support system and (at times) possibly a source of income, as well as a means to share information regarding the state of food production, something that I have been doing a lot of research on lately!
